1,000,000 people used Dublin Airport in a single month. The busiest single day in the airport's history was June 29th when more than

44,000 passengers used the terminal.

Traffic to and from United Kingdom destinations showed the highest level of growth and accounted for 55 per cent of all passengers.

In the first six months of the year, more than 4.6 million people have passed through Dublin Airport - an increase of 14 per cent on the corresponding period of 1996.
