LONDON - The Nine O'Clock Service, the rave church rocked by allegations of sexual misconduct by its former leader, Chris Brain, took a step towards more traditional worship yesterday with the appointment of a new chaplain, the Rev Philip Allin (52), currently team rector of the Hermitage Team Ministry near Newbury, Berks.
