A three-bedroom Victorian terrace house at 9 Kenilworth Square, Rathgar, Dublin 6, was sold yesterday for €460,000 – €35,000 more than the advised minimum value (AMV).
The house is in need of considerable refurbishment.
It was one of eight properties sold at auction or immediately afterwards by Dublin estate agents Gunne.
Marian McQuillan of Gunne said the success of the auctions proved there was a market for houses priced realistically.
Close by at 25 Kenilworth Lane, a site with planning permission for two mews properties made €135,000 – €15,000 more than the AMV.
