The price of a range of promotional train fares and commuter rail tickets is to increase from today.
The Adult Weekly Medium Hop intercity ticket will increase in price from £20 to £22, while the Adult Weekly Long Hop and Giant Hop tickets will both increase by £3.
Student weekly inner and outer zone DART and suburban rail tickets will both increase by 50p.
The student monthly DART, suburban rail and Dublin Bus ticket will increase from £41 to £42.
Student, Faircard and Weekender card discounted return fares will also be increased by between 50p and £2.
Certain Intercity weekend return and Day Saver fares will also increase, with Iarnrod Eireann giving the example of the midweek saver from Cork or Tralee to Dublin, which will increase from £23 to £24.
