Raiders threaten staff in Dublin bank robbery

Two men armed with a knife threatened staff and escaped with cash in a bank raid in Dublin this afternoon.

Two men armed with a knife threatened staff and escaped with cash in a bank raid in Dublin this afternoon.

A Garda statement said the robbery occurred at the Ulster Bank branch at Monastery Road, Clondalkin, just before 1pm.

Two men entered the premises, threatened staff and escaped with a small quantity of cash, the statement said. No one was injured.

Gardaí at Clondalkin are investigating.
