A man was being treated in Blanchardstown Hospital, Dublin, yesterday for a gunshot wound to his right leg after two men entered his home at Whitechapel Grove, Blanchardstown, early yesterday morning.
Gardai said the men demanded money and a struggle ensued, during which the owner of the house was shot. They got no money.
