Edinburgh - A lecturer who provoked outrage when he defended paedophilia and so-called "scientific racism" was sacked yesterday after a university tribunal found him guilty of disgraceful conduct. Mr Christopher Brand (53), a psychology lecturer at Edinburgh University, claimed that some forms of child-sex were acceptable, depending on the age and intelligence of the child and whether or not they had been paid. He attracted controversy earlier with the publication of a book, The g-Factor, which concluded that blacks were genetically less intelligent than whites. - (Guardian Service)
