HONG KONG - Mr Chris Patten's wife says they plan a new life in a London suburb near the River Thames - a far cry from their imposing mansion in Hong Kong.
In an interview with Hong Kong's Sunday Morning Post, Mrs Mary Lavender St Leger Patten said she is negotiating to buy an ordinary suburban house between Putney and Barnes.
