The Democratic Left spokeswoman on justice, Ms Liz McManus, has called for the immediate publication of the Government's review of the passports-for-investment scheme. The review, ordered after a series of controversies, has been completed but the Government has yet to decide what to do about the scheme, the Minister for Justice, Mr O'Donoghue, told the Dail on Thursday.
Ms McManus claimed yesterday in a statement that the review would have been completed by last November but was delayed by differences between the Coalition parties.
"The review should now be published to allow a full public debate on this issue," she said.
A spokesman for the Department of Justice said yesterday that a decision on publication of the report was a matter for the Government.
