A high-risk convicted sex offender being hunted by police in Northern Ireland was recaptured last night.
Robert Simpson Wallace (77) was detained in Lurgan, Co Armagh, after detectives urged the public to watch out for him.
Wallace had failed to register with police after leaving approved accommodation in Belfast.
The former prisoner had initially complied with his probation conditions before disappearing. He had been described as posing a serious risk to vulnerable women and girls.
