Three police officers were injured during disturbances outside a bar in Belfast this morning.

Three police officers were injured during disturbances outside a bar in Belfast this morning.

Two were punched to the head and one struck with a glass after a crowd of 50 gathered as they investigated a possible licensing breach on the Falls Road.

Police were initially pelted with bottles and glasses at around 1.30am before they were assaulted but none were seriously injured.

CS spray was used but no arrests were made.
