The PSNI today made an appeal for information about a murder in Antrim one year ago.

Martin Morgan (41) was shot in his home in the Firmount Drive area of the town a month after being released from prison after serving a sentence for drugs offences.

PSNI Det Insp Mark Irvine, who is heading up the case, said officers still need to hear from witnesses.

“Martin was shot dead in his Firmount Drive home sometime between 3am and 4.30am. We believe that a person or a number of persons ran away from his house along an alleyway in Firmount Drive in the direction of Ballycraigy estate."
