PSNI issues appeal over missing Derry boy

A one-year-old boy has been reported missing from a residential home in Co Derry.

A one-year-old boy has been reported missing from a residential home in Co Derry.

The PSNI said it was concerned for the safety of the child whom they said had been taken by his mother during a scheduled visit to a residential home at Irish Street in Derry City on Friday.

The police said: "It is believed that the mother and child may be in the ROI, possibly in the Cork area."

The woman described as 5 foot 5 inches tall, of heavy build with auburn hair tied back, with the child who is dressed in a grey hooded top, blue jeans and brown shoes.
