Police in Northern Ireland are investigating the theft of a trailer containing toxic acid.

Police in Northern Ireland are investigating the theft of a trailer containing toxic acid.

The incident happened early yesterday morning when an Ifor Williams trailer was taken from Tandgragee Road, Jerretspass in Newry.

The trailer contained between 1500 and 2000 litres of hypochlorite acid, a highly dangerous chemical.

Anyone who finds the trailer is advised not to touch it. Any information about the trailer's whereabouts should be passed to the PSNI.
