The PSNI has opened an investigation into the shooting of a 21 year-old man in Strabane last night.
The man was shot at a house in the St Coleman's Drive area of Strabane, Co Tyrone shortly before 9.30pm. A spokeswoman said he was taken to hospital for treatment to a number of gunshot wounds. The man, who was shot in the arm and legs, was taken to the Altnagevin Hospital. The PSNI appealed for information from anyone who was in the area and who noticed suspicious activity to contact them.
