PSNI officers in Co Derry were this morning appealing for witnesses to a shooting incident at a house in the Dungiven area last night.

Three masked man armed with sticks and a gun approached the house in the village of Feeney at 10.30 p.m.

Two of the men smashed windows in the front door while a third man fired four shots through the bottom of the door.

The occupants were in the rear of the house at the time and escaped injury. Police said they have yet to establish a motive for the attack.
