PSNI investigates murder of woman in Antrim

Police have opend a murder investigation following the discovery of a woman's body in a car park in Ballymena, Co Antrim.

Police have opend a murder investigation following the discovery of a woman's body in a car park in Ballymena, Co Antrim.

The victim was named as Shirley Finlay (24) from Crebilly Road in the town. Her body was found in a car park off Mount Street yesterday afternoon. It was wrapped in carpet.

A postmortem was carried out today and following the result a murder investigation was opened.
