A Masonic hall in Co Down has been set on fire, police said today.

A Masonic hall in Co Down has been set on fire, police said today.

Minor smoke damage was caused to the building in Corry Street, Newtownards, and it was ransacked after entry was gained at around 11pm yesterday.

Elsewhere, the PSNI is investigating a suspicious fire at commercial and industrial property in Co Antrim.

Several units were severely affected at the site in Dundrod Road, Nutts Corner, early this morning.
