Police in Northern Ireland are investigating an attack on a Church of Ireland church in Kilkeel, Co Down.
Vandals ransacked the foyer of the church and broke a number of windows.
They also severely damaged a car which was parked nearby during the early morning vandalism spree.
Police believe the culprits forced their way into the vestibule of the building on Newry Street at about 2.30am.
Investigating officers said they are treating the case as criminal damage.
They have appealed for anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area, to contact them.
