PSNI investigates armed raid in Belfast

The PSNI are investigating an armed raid at an industrial estate in Mallusk, north Belfast early this morning.

The PSNI are investigating an armed raid at an industrial estate in Mallusk, north Belfast early this morning.

Three armed men tied up members of staff at Grange Park on the Trench Road at around 12.30am. The gang then loaded up a lorry with copper plates valued at between £20,000 and £30,000.

They made their escape in the lorry and in a gold VW Passat belonging to a member of staff.

No-one was injured during the raid.

The PSNI are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
