Detectives are investigating a suspicious fire at a house in the Park Avenue area of Belfast this morning.
Police believe a rag was set alight at the front door of the property shortly after 7.30am. The rag did not fully light but caused minor damage to the door before burning out.
A woman in her 30s who was in the house at the time escaped without any injury.
Police are seeking a motive for the attack and have appealed for anyone who may have seen anything suspicious to contact them.
