PSNI investigate Ballymena attacks

A car was destroyed after a petrol bomb was thrown at it in Co Antrim, police said today.

A car was destroyed after a petrol bomb was thrown at it in Co Antrim, police said today.

A device was also hurled at a nearby house in Francis Street, Ballymena, last night, causing scorch damage to a window. There were no injuries.

Separately, at about 1.50am today, a shot was fired through the window of a house in Orkney Drive in the town. There were no injuries.

Police are investigating both incidents and appealed for anybody with information to contact them.
