PSNI investigate armed raid at betting shop

The PSNI are investigating an armed robbery at a betting shop in Co Antrim yesterday.

The PSNI are investigating an armed robbery at a betting shop in Co Antrim yesterday.

Two men armed with a handgun entered McClean's Bookmakers on Grey's Lane, Greencastle, Co Antrim, at 6.30pm yesterday.

Police said they demanded money from staff and made off with a small amount of  cash.

Both culprits were described as tall. One man was wearing a black hooded top while the other was wearing a light-coloured hooded top.

Any witnesses to the incident have been asked to come forward.
