PSNI arrest four over serious assault in Derry

The PSNI have arrested four men in connection with a serious assault in Derry that happened two weeks ago.

The PSNI have arrested four men in connection with a serious assault in Derry that happened two weeks ago.

The assault left a Catholic man (29) fighting for his life after he sustained serious head injuries.

The PSNI said that a sectarian motive was behind the attack in the Chapel Road area of the Waterside early in the morning on July 16th.

Two others who were with him were also attacked. One of his friends sustained a fractured jaw, and the other man was badly bruised.
