NICOSIA - UN peace keepers in Cyprus protested to Turkish forces yesterday after the "deplorable" killing of a Greek Cypriot civilian who had crossed into the north of the divided island. The British envoy, Sir David Han nay, also condemned Sunday's killing of Mr Petros Kakouli (58) after a meeting with the Cypriot President, Mr Glalkos Clerides.
