A man who robbed another of empty lodgement envelopes, thinking they contained cash, after the man had deposited €20,000 in a bank has been placed under supervision of the Probation Service.
Patrick McCormack (33), Courtney Place, Ballybough, pleaded guilty at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court to taking the envelopes on January 16th, 2007.
