A man who punched a police officer in the face after making a remark about his presence at Drumcree, has been placed on probation for a year. Robert Roy McKnight (53), of Queen's Avenue, Cookstown, was attending a loyalist band parade in the Co Tyrone village of Coagh on July 4th when he committed the assault.
