Princess Anne visits North

The British Princess Royal, Princess Anne, paid a one-day visit to Northern Ireland yesterday. She visited the Save the Children Fund charity shop in Ballymena, Co Antrim, to present an award to one worker and meet other members of staff. Her other engagements included visiting a religiously integrated primary school in Hilden, Co Down and hosting a reception for Parents and Professionals Against Autism and SENSE, the deaf, blind and rubella association.
