London - Britain's first high-tech jail was officially opened by Princess Anne yesterday, amid continuing controversy over its management failings.
The princess met staff and inmates of the privately-run £50 million Parc Prison at Bridgend, south Wales, only a day after a damning report by a committee of MPs on its performance.
