Gdansk - The former chaplain of Poland's Solidarity labour movement, Father Henryk Jankowski, was yesterday suspended from his parish duties after he suggested Jews be kept out of the government in Warsaw.

Archbishop Tadeusz Goclowski of Gdansk said he would be replaced for one year at Saint Brigitte parish.
