A priest facing three charges of indecently assaulting a female more than 20 years ago has been sent forward for trial, probably next January, to Dundalk Circuit Criminal Court. He appeared before Drogheda District Court yesterday where a deposition was taken from the woman. The charges relate to dates unknown between July 31st, 1981, and August 3rd, 1982. Judge Flann Brennan sent the defendant forward for trial on his own bond of £2,000.
