The President, Mrs Robinson, presided at her last Easter Rising commemoration ceremony at Arbour Hill yesterday

The President, Mrs Robinson, presided at her last Easter Rising commemoration ceremony at Arbour Hill yesterday. Around 200 people attended the religious service and wreath laying ceremony. The Government, led by Mr Bruton, and members of the Fianna Fail front bench, led by Mr Bertie Ahern, attended.

During the Requiem Mass pupils from St Louise de Marillac primary school, Ballyfermot, sang hymns.

The President was accompanied by the Defence Forces Chief of Staff, Lieut Gen Gerard McMahon.
