A crew member of a British registered Spanish fishing vessel, the Lephretto, was lost when he fell overboard off the west coast yesterday. The incident happened off Blacksod Bay, Co Mayo, in heavy weather at about 6 a.m. A search by an Air Corps helicopter failed to locate him. He is understood to be Portuguese.
