VATICAN - Pope John Paul II has sent his blessings and prayers to the people of Dunblane on the first anniversary of the primary school massacre in which 16 children and their teacher died.
In a message delivered via the Apostolic Nuncio, Monsignor Luigi Barbarito, the Pope offered prayers for all who died and were bereaved in the tragedy.
