Vatican City - Pope John Paul yesterday mourned the death of the former archbishop of Canterbury, Lord Runcie, and recalled with affection the times he and the Anglican spiritual leader had prayed together.
The pontiff said in a message to Archbishop George Carey that he prayed for Lord Runcie and recalled their meetings with joy.
