A Fianna Fail backbench TD, Mr John Moloney (46), was recovering in hospital last night after collapsing in Leinster House. Mr Moloney, the TD for Laois-Offaly, collapsed after attending the weekly meeting of the Fianna Fail parliamentary party. He is suffering from a stress-related condition.
