THE report of the inquiry into circumstances which resulted in students from 29 schools receiving no credit for a section of last year's Leaving Certificate art examination will be available within weeks, the Minister for Education, Ms Bhreathnach, told the Dail.

The report would provide a full explanation of the circumstances which led to the failures in the running of the examination.

The Minister said that where a case to make good losses incurred by a candidate was put, forward, it would be examined in a fair and even handed way.
