RUAIRÍ QUINN and fellow Dublin South East deputy Kevin Humphreys were out canvassing in the constituency last weekend, somewhere in the South Circular Road area. Ruairí knocked on a door and it was opened by two kids in school uniform.

He handed them his business card and said: “Ruairí Quinn, Minister for Education. I’m here to check that you’ve done your homework.”
