Including GAA matches in the proposed Northern parades legislation would be "entirely inappropriate and unacceptable", the Taoiseach said. Mr Ahern added that he had raised the matter with the British Prime Minister and it had also been raised by the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, Dr Mo Mowlam. The British government would be well aware of views of everybody in the House on the matter. He was replying on the Order of Business to Mr Charles Flanagan (FG, Laois-Offaly).
