THE golden handshake paid to the former chief medical consultant of the Blood Transfusion Service Board (BTSB) should be reviewed, said Fianna Fail deputy leader, Ms Mary O Rourke.

Dr Terry Walsh received a lump sum of £86,872 and an annual pension of £29,018 when he retired in April, 1995:

This Mary O'Rourke said in the Dail that she was raising the report of the hepatitis C tribunal on a day "which must be one of huge reality and sadness" for many people in the State.
