THE number of people unlawfully at large last week was 1,365, the Minister for Justice said in a written reply. Most of these were for technical breaches of temporary release conditions such as failing to return to sign on at Garda stations or prisons. The figure was a cumulative one, spanning 11 years, the Minister added.
