A 29-year-old Polish woman was being questioned today after customs officers seized 2.5 kilogrammes of cocaine worth approximately €175,000 at Dublin Airport.

The woman was intercepted after she arrived on a flight from Brussels last night and officers found the drug concealed in a laptop carrier case.

A Customs Service spokesman said the woman was handed over to the Garda Drug Unit in Santry. "The seizure was a result of passenger profiling," he added.
