Peterborough - A youth found dead yesterday in the garden of his home is believed to have shot himself with a .22 rifle legally owned by his father. Police are trying to discover why Stuart Tomblin (16), of Yaxley, near Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, might have taken his own life. They are investigating a report that he was upset about a girl.
The youth was discovered less than three hours after an episode of the TV police drama Wycliffe, which treated the is sue of guns in homes.
