Police came under petrol bomb attack in Derry last night.

A PSNI spokesman said this morning that officers responding to reports of petrol bombs being thrown into the Fountain area of the city were attacked at 9 p.m.

The unrest took place at Rossville Street and Nailors Row. A short time later police vehicles were again pelted with petrol bombs at Durrow Park. A police vehilce was hit three times but there were no injuries in either incident.
