LOS ANGELES - Two illegal immigrants suspected of smuggling were clubbed by police yesterday following a high speed motorway chase that started near the US Mexico border. The incident, captured by a TV news helicopter, showed one officer delivering at least six blows with a night stick to one suspect after the man was lying face down on the ground.
