Police charge man over Derry bomb find

Police have charged a man (30) in connection with a bomb in Co Derry linked to dissident republicans.

Police have charged a man (30) in connection with a bomb in Co Derry linked to dissident republicans.

The man will appear before magistrates today charged with possessing and making a bomb.

He arrested yesterday by police investigating a bomb find in June in the village of Bellaghy.

The device, which was packed with nails, was discovered in a yard in William Street in the village of Bellaghy on July 2nd.
