Rome - Italian police yesterday arrested a man suspected of involvement in last year's killing of a senior government adviser which was claimed by the Red Brigades, a left-wing guerrilla group thought to have been eliminated.

The man, Mr Alessandro Geri (27), is alleged to be the man who called newspapers to reveal the place where the Red Brigades had left a document claiming responsibility for the murder.
