The National Poisons Centre, based at Beaumount Hospital, Dublin, is to host the 19th Congress of the European Association of Poisons Centres and Clinical Toxicologists next June. More than 200 delegates from 30 countries are expected to attend the conference, which will be held in Trinity College Dublin. Dr Joseph Tracey, director of the National Poisons Centre, outbid both Brussels and Munich to bring the congress to Dublin.
