RICHMOND - The island where Pocohontas lived and later married an English settler on the James River near Richmond, Virginia, is up for sale. The story of the Red Indian princess who rescued the settler and fell in love with him became a Disney hit in 1995.

The princess left her tribe and converted to Christianity. She came to England in 1616 and died in Gravesend, Kent, while waiting for a ship back to America.
