PNSI opens murder case in Bangor

Police today open a murder investigation after a woman’s body was discovered in Northern Ireland.

Detectives are investigating a report that Margaret Finlay (49) was assaulted within the last week.

She was discovered at her house on the Southwell Road, Bangor, Co Down, on Monday and the investigation was opened after a postmortem was completed.

Detectives have appealed for information.
